David Ezell Blockett was just 15 days old when he was abducted by “Marie Kelly”.

David Ezell Blockett was a 2-week-old baby boy born on November 26, 1980. He lived with his two-year-old brother Frederick and 19-year-old mother Vanessa Blockett. David’s father, 22-year-old Fred West, was in jail at the time of his son’s birth but was allowed to meet him.


Kate Bushell’s throat had been cut with a kitchen knife.

Kate Bushell was a 14-year-old girl living in Exeter, Devon, England, with her parents and 15-year-old brother. She was a student at St.Thomas High School and was involved with the local church. Kate liked to play basketball and was very musical — she knew how to play the saxophone, clarinet, and piano.


Alison Thresher’s daughter was being sexually abused by her teacher.

Alison Goodwin Thresher was a 45-year-old woman living at the Summer Highlands Apartment complex in Bethesda, Maryland. She and her husband, James M. Thresher, were separated and in the midst of a custody battle. They had two children, 12-year-old Hannah and 10-year-old Sam.


The box was likely thrown from a helicopter. The Box Lady of Benton County remains unidentified.

Norman Skoog owned a cornfield in the small town of Otterbein, in Benton County, Indiana. He was harvesting corn in the late afternoon of October 8, 1976, when he nearly ran his combine over a box that was mysteriously lying nine rows deep into the field.

Nevaeh Amyah Buchanan was a five-year-old girl from Monroe, Michigan. She was described as a “tomboy” and was particularly fond of motorcycles. Nevaeh was the daughter of 24-year-old Jennifer Buchanan and 22-year-old Shane Hinojosa.


Travis Damon Thomas had been struggling with alcoholism and psychosis when he was left on Bartlett Island in 2018.
